Next to Kim Clijsters, Regi will become the second Limburger to become ambassador of Limburg, he will try to carry out the Limburg symbol. This was announced during a press conference by the governing board today.

The Limburg symbol is some kind of heart that expresses the love for the province Limburg.  This symbol serves to show the solidarity between the Limburgers and it's also used to promote the province across Belgium and abroad.

Tennis player Kim Clijsters was the first to accept ambassadorship of the Limburg symbol. The next one to promote the "Trotse Limburger" (Proud Limburger) media campaign is Regi Penxten.

Regi accepting this honor immediately shows his Limburg feeling is genuine and well meant.

Together with this campaign, a huge sticker action will be started where 10000 sticker will be divided between all Limburgers. There will be posters, adverts in newspapers and on websites, tv commercials,…

Asking Regi to become ambassador had several good reasons. He's not only a well known Limburger in the music industry, he also has a broad audience concerning several age categories. Regi is authentic, proud of his birth region and he radiates positivity.

As most of you already know, today is Regi's birthday. Today he celebrates his 31st birthday
We would like to congratulate Regi with this wonderfull day and hope he'll stay in good health so we all can enjoy his work for many more years!

Another year has passed, and another year is standing by to begin
2006 was a very good year for Regi Penxten. One of his dreams has come true: filling the Sportpaleis in Antwerp completely with Milk Inc. fans. He has produced lots of songs this year and his succes is growing and growing every year
